Samuel Hobson House
Samuel Hobson House is purpose built on three floors with wheelchair access and a lift to all floors. The home is conveniently situated within walking distance of the local shops and Wolstanton Cricket Club and bowling green are just a stone’s throw away. We provide the highest quality person-centered residential Dementia care for people over the age of 55.
- Samuel Hobson House is registered for 39 residents. All bedrooms are single occupancy and are equipped with ensuite facilities and television points. The rooms are well apportioned and attractively decorated. Residents are welcome to personalize the rooms with ornaments, pictures, photographs and small items of furniture.
- All floors have light and airy lounge-diners and on the ground floor there is a formal dining room for those residents who prefer to make dining a more social occasion.
- The home is equipped with a nurse-call system in all rooms and TV and DVD facilities in all lounge areas. All lounges are well furnished and in line with the needs of the residents. There is piped music throughout the home.
- There is a bath and a shower on each floor and bathrooms are equipped to meet the needs of residents who require assisted bathing.
- Our laundry service is available to all residents.
- We have an onsite hairdressing salon and a hairdresser visits on a regular basis.
- Samuel Hobson House is supported by a local GP who visits on a weekly basis and the community nurse services.
- We can arrange for domiciliary visits for dental, optical and chiropody services.
- The beliefs and religious needs of the residents are respected and every effort made to enable residents to practice within their chosen faith.
- Samuel Hobson House has a no smoking policy; however there is a covered smoking area for residents in the garden.
